A simple career choice...

Love for horses + passion for law

Kathy is a native Oregonian, who began riding ponies at the age of seven. As a junior high and high school student, and as s a junior and amateur owner/rider, Kathy competed successfully on the "A" Circuit throughout the Pacific Northwest and British Columbia in the hunter, jumper, and equitation divisions. After an extended hiatus to college and graduate school, Kathy resumed riding in 1994.

 

In 1996, Kathy purchased the first of two Hanoverian fillies, both of whom went on to become national champions. Elle was the American Hanoverian Society's 1999 Three Year Old Hunter Breeding National Champion. Estival was the American Hanoverian Society's 2004 Young Jumper National Champion, and its 2006 Grand Prix National Champion. 

 

For more than a decade, Kathy has judged several Oregon Hunter Jumper Association-sanctioned horse shows a year. She is also currently working toward her Steward's license from the United States Equestrian Federation.

 

Kathy is an active member of the United States Equestrian Federation, United States Hunter Jumper Association, American Hanoverian Society, Oregon Hunter Jumper Association, and the United States Dressage Federation. Kathy is also a former member and board member of the Northwest Sport Horse Breeders Association.

 

Kathy is married with a young daughter. In addition to spending time with her family and horses, Ms. Hall enjoys bicycling, gardening, and swimming.
